feels weird updating my blog again after such a long hiatus. first and foremost, congratulations to the singapore table tennis team for clinching at least the silver medal! was listening to the live telecast via radio today and i was feeling very nervous for the team when it comes down to the final deciding match. i was staring at the computer at my work desk but totally not concentrating on work at all. i bet everyone in the office were listening intently to the radio for the commentary and it was rather funny. that's why they say visual is more exciting than verbal. ok crap i am digressing.

olympics aside, today CDF visit our little "hideout" aka storeroom aka office aka ranking and promotion section at Mindef HQ RSAF. i stood up immediately as a mark of respect and look up to see three stars shining brightly at me. anyway i realised that the stars on the shoulder board are made of real gold threads! went down to gombak base QM to collect them for promotion ceremony last month and was shock to see the stars "shining" in the scanner screen as it passes through the MP security scanner. even the MP was amazed and showed his counterpart haha. anyway shoke Minister Teo's hand during national day when he made his walk-about and was trying to shake CDF's hand but unfortunately he just popped in for awhile. luckily i wasn't singing at that moment! HAHA.

talking about singing i was nominated by my branch to take part in AMD's karaoke competition for their happy hour. i feel dead because seriously enjoy singing doesn't equate to singing well.... lol. i guessed i would just embarrase myself, not that it is the first time. =P
